About _

WTLS RADIO is located in Washington, D.C. and the brainstorm of Lee "Ole School" Sturdivant.  Lee Sturdivant is no stranger to the music scene.  He grew up in Washington, D.C and received a degree in music and taught vocals and percussion in the school system.  He later went on to form an acupella group "Just Us" that was profiled repeatedly on Channel 4 News in D.C.  The group won Amateur Night at the Apollo in New York and was the opening group for many well-known R&B artists.

Lee "Ole School" Sturdivant's love for music did not end there.  He auditioned and got a part in a stage play as a pit singer, later touring with that play. He has held many principle and lead roles in a score of independent, feature, and industrial films and television commercials.  He later won an award for Best Supporting Actor in an Independent Film.

The Birth of WTLS RADIO _

In 2016, after working with, recording, and producing many upcoming artists, Lee "Ole School" Sturdivant decided to build his own recording studio and production company, "TLS Productions".  After having worked in front and behind the camera, he wrote and produced his first short film, "We Family".  It was accepted into three film festivals in 2019.

In 2021, he decided to use the down time that the nation was dealing with regarding COVID 19 as an opportunity to use his music, studio and creative skills to create what is now WTLS RADIO.
